Ballad Of The Girl In The Landfill:

 

Little Sisters, young and bold

Please pay attention if you want to grow old.

 

I would like to say

To the little girls like me

Learn to really kick your feet.

 

I almost made almost all B’s-

I wasn’t blue-eyed blond-

I was no miniature rock star-

I wasn’t even teen aged-

I was just walking home

When I decided to run ahead

And be the winner of the gang.

I just wanted to shine

For a moment in our minds

And be the fastest girl

Of all recorded after school time.
