The Baptist Of Kern River:
What's that little noise in the thrift store trunk? The lantern blazes beside him In a four-wheel Dodge den, A twisted monk.
Three is the loneliest number, Just ask the Baptist of Kern River. He takes his rum and beans And fishes from the boulders.
Digging for a cigarette in his van, Joking with disabled veterans He comes across a Last Supper key chain from Florida, A rose stickpin, various teeth And several petite cardigans.
